★ Escapism Zine ( Dec 2022) ★

"Escapism" is a zine I created as my digital media final in college. It focuses on an anthropomorphic rabbit illustrated in surreal scenarios representing the different emotions and struggles one can experience while living with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). It is a piece I hold close to my heart and a personal expression of myself and my own experiences with GAD. It is one of my proudest works that even won 2023 Best in Show in my college's student art show! I'm happy to share this with you all, and remember: it's going to be okay. :]

*NOTE: I did not illustrate the pig in these designs. I only worked on adding flavor-related elements to the chocolate (such as the s'mores pieces) and altering the colors + flavor sticker to match their color schemes.

Professional staff are housed in the Center and collaboratively manage its current primary functions: instructional and staff professional development, online course design, program and institutional-level academic assessment, and instructional technology."

★ Art Done for PAC Teaching & Learning Symposium ★

Starting in 2022 and finalized in 2023, I had the honor of my artwork for Palo Alto College's Teaching & Learning Center to be selected for their 4th annual PAC faculty symposium. I've been given a certificate of appreciation, as well as had the artwork printed on physical notebooks! Below will showcase my process sketches and the final design. :-)

Concept art sketches & planning

The Teaching & Learning Center were looking for a logo that had elements symbolizing teaching and learning. I experimented with both the idea of a tree and a book (trees symbolizing growth, and it sprouting from a book adding the educational aspect to the tree's growth), and the idea of PAC's mascot being in the logo. I was instructed to continue forth with the first idea. I also went ahead and picked out a color scheme I wanted to focus on for this design, making sure they were all complimentary and harmonized with one another.
